Main Roads Construction
The project included a full roadworks upgrade of 7.8km of the Burke Developmental Road between Almaden and Chillagoe. This project fully reworked the existing formation to improve all-weather bitumen-sealed pavement.
Marine Infrastructure
This project demonstrated HEH Civil’s ability to successfully manage multiple high-risk activities in a live environment including management of contaminated materials, existing service location/protection, marine works, heavy-duty pavements, tidal conditions, and live seaport operations.
Bridge & Concrete Infrastructure
This significant project involved the final connection of Cairns Southern Access Cycleway to the Edmonton to Gordonvale Stage 4 project.
Main Roads Construction
The project required upgrade from single to double through lanes with expanded capacity for turn lanes. Relocation of Council water mains, bus stop construction and upgrade of signalised intersection and pedestrian crossing and street lighting.
Water Infrastructure
The project required the installation and commissioning of pressurised pipelines, allowing a more efficient water delivery system and increasing pressures at all pipeline offtake locations to reduce water loss.
Urban Infrastructure
The Cutters Rise project for RLS Developments is a 42.5ha infill subdivision ultimately comprising up to 400 lots in Gordonvale just twenty kilometres from the Cairns CBD.
